DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst)

 

DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst) – the German Academic Exchange Service. DAAD provides scholarships to virtually all categories of scholars and applicants, starting from second-year students up to professors and doctoral researchers. DAAD scholarships offer a variety of opportunities for study, internships, research, and professional development at German universities and research institutions.

DAAD also facilitates mobility for students, graduate students, and lecturers.

DAAD offers the following types of scholarships:

Research fellowships for lecturers and scholars. Foreign researchers working at universities and research institutes have the opportunity to conduct research at one of the public or publicly recognized German universities or non-university research institutions.

Research scholarships for graduate students and young researchers. Scholarships provide foreign young researchers with the opportunity to conduct research or improve their qualifications at a German university or research institute.

Study scholarships for university graduates. Scholarships offer foreign university graduates the opportunity to study in Germany at a postgraduate or master’s level and obtain a “Diplom” or “Master” degree.

Study scholarships for bachelor’s level students. Scholarships provide the opportunity to study in summer courses in Germany.
